Student of the Month

Yesterday, Savannah was chosen as the 3rd grade, Student of the Month! Chris, Gavin, and I got to surprise her during lunch when they announced it. It is quite a privilege to be chosen. She was an example to her other fellow students of responsibility, respect, compassion, and integrity.

This is what was read to all the students written by her teacher, Mrs. Reed:
"Savannah is truthful, dependable, and reliable. She does the right thing even when no one is looking. She is an upright student at all times. Savannah holds herself accountable everyday when she takes responsibility for her learning. She is mature, sensible and conscientious. Savannah shows reverence to all teachers and her fellow classmates. She adheres to our 'class pledge' and can always be counted on to follow the rules. Savannah shows kindness and empathy to others and is always polite and well mannered. Savannah is a model student, not just because she excels in school, but because she is a kind person, and tries her best everyday."
